The Odd Couple
by Wimberley Players
Nov. 14 - Dec. 07, 2014
This classic comedy by Neil Simon opens as a group of the guys gather for a poker game in the New York apartment of slovenly Oscar Madison. If the mess is any indication, it's no wonder his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix Unger, just separated from his wife and a compulsive neat-freak. While Oscar lives large, enjoying every moment, Felix only finds purpose in pointing out his own and other people's foibles. The two eventually decide to room together with hilarious results. The Odd Couple won the 1965 Tony Award, and the characters were revived in a successful film and television series.
