Lend Me A Tenor
by Dripping Springs High School Theatre
Oct. 30 - Nov. 02, 2014
The award-winning DSHS Theatre Department proudly presents the Dripping Springs premiere of Ken Ludwig's Lend Me A Tenor, Thursday, October 30 - Sunday, November 2nd. Set in Cleveland, Ohio in 1934, this classic comic farce centers on the machinations of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company as it prepares for it's 10th Anniversary Season performance of Otello, guest-starring the most famous opera star of the day, tenor Tito Merelli. Needless to say, hilarity and confusion ensue as the plot unfolds. The production features seniors Abby Schmidt, Milo Tucker, Sage Thompson, and Kaila Brinckmann, junior Joey Kelley, and sophomore Michael Thornton, as well as the DSHS stage debut of freshmen Connor Bailey and Grayson Ruiz!
The local production team includes director Rachael Koske, James Orozco as technical director, and senior Haley Willis as the Production Stage Manager.
