Laundry and Bourbon
by Unity Theatre
Apr. 03 - Apr. 13, 2014
The setting is the front porch of Roy and Elizabeth's home in Maynard, Texas, on a hot summer afternoon, and the AC is out. Elizabeth is coping by hanging her laundry out to dry and drinking Cokes when her best friend, Hattie, shows up. Hattie is escaping from her unruly kids and ready for some bourbon in her Coke! When they are joined by the country-club-flaunting, self-righteous Amy Lee, the bourbon, gossip and honesty really begin to flow!
