Kids of the Magi
by Scottish Rite Theater
Dec. 06 - Dec. 21, 2014
Kids of the Magi is a heartwarming Scottish Rite Theater holiday original based on a classic favorite! The Scottish Rite stage is graced with a haunting by William Sydney Porter (a.k.a. O. Henry) who guides the audience through the lesson of the Magi. The play includes a play-within-the-play, a dramatized version of the original Victorian story, “The Gift of the Magi,” which is echoed in the lives of school children Jamie and Dale. The one is an accomplished athlete; the other is an outstanding musician whose prized possessions are a foil and a ukulele.
Scottish Rite Theater players dance, sing, and FENCE their way into your heart in a play about community and generosity. This one is great for all ages and the whole family!
At Scottish Rite Theater, kids can get the best seats in the house—on the big carpet close to the action! Open seating for all.
Tickets available online and at the door one hour before showtime.
Parking lot and street parking available.
