Five Nickles: A single, shy lifelong bachelor serving as a Catholic usher is confronted by a widow, who after weeks of holding back, communicates her true feelings - feelings she's been expressing in the church hallway in a very special, subtle way.

Santa Comes to the King David: A distraught woman saves what she thinks is a bridge jumper in a Santa suit, discovering instead a world of unfulfilled dreams, unconditional devotion, a Kris Kringle who makes annual visits to a Jewish nursing home, and the possibility that two broken hearts can make one whole.
