Khia, a law school student, is engaged to be married to her college sweetheart. The couple come from completely different backgrounds and Khia's dad, a prominent District Attorney, is not doesn't think that his future son-in-law is good enough for his daughter. To make matters worse, the couple finds out that Landon’s mothers doesn’t quite approve of the wedding either. With all of the stress and bickering between the families, Khia begins to confide in her best friend and maid of honor. The plot thickens when Khia’s younger sister realizes that Khia’s maid of honor may be using Khia's secrets against her to secretly sabotage the wedding.
