ZACH Theatre kicks off the 2014-2015 Family Series with A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD on October 7, 2014. The three-time Tony Award-nominated musical runs until December 12, 2014 on the Kleberg Stage. Directed by Nat Miller, ZACH's Director of Education, this first Family Series production of the season features Nicholas Kier as Frog and Chase Brewer as Toad. The cast also includes Clint Harris, Kelley Henry, Kelly Petlin Josh Wechsler and Megan Richards Wright. Allen Robertson is the musical director
Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from page to stage in a musical that's fit for ages Pre-K and up. This whimsical show follows two great friends waking from hibernation, planting gardens, raking leaves, sledding and learning life lessons along the way. Part vaudeville, part make-believe and all charm, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD tells the story of a friendship that endures, weathering all seasons.

Tickets to A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD are $15 for children and $20 for adults, and are available on-line at www.zachtheatre.org, by phone at 512-476-0541 ext. 1, or in person at the ZACH Theatre Box Office, in the Topfer Theatre, 202 South Lamar Blvd. (corner of Riverside Drive and South Lamar Blvd.) Monday through Saturday, 12 noon – 7 pm. ZACH Theatre is wheelchair accessible.
