Unbecoming - A Story Told in Form & Fashion
by Red Nightfall Dance Theatre

Mar. 19 - Mar. 21
Thursday-Saturday

Red Nightfall Dance Theatre presents Unbecoming: an intimate, interdisciplinary work that merges dance, narrative fashion design, live music, and spoken word into a form all its own. The story is told through the body, through the garment, and through the word — and the audience plays a role in how it unfolds.

Staged in the round. Audience surrounds the performance on all sides — every seat is a front-row seat. Dancers, models, and musicians move through and among the audience as the world transforms around you.

Concept, Story & Direction by Dorothy O'Shea Overbey

Original Music composed by Sofia Josephine (performed by cellist SoJo Gonzalez and Pianist Finn Dickens) weaves classical and electronic textures throughout the evening.

Fashion and Costume Design by Robby Durand of EmmaSis Designs. Inspired by the theatrical runway productions of Alexander McQueen, each costume transformation reveals the cost of belonging, certainty, and unchecked power.

Choreography by Overbey in collaboration with the dancers

Guest Choreography by Alexa Capareda

Lighting Design by Trent Brown, Doghouse Productions

Projection Design by Matthew Smith

Unbecoming is the third chapter in The Chronicles of Crone, an interdisciplinary performance series building the universe of CRONE — Red Nightfall's upcoming film and immersive production exploring resilience, transformation, and the archetypal feminine.
