At The VORTEX late at night
And the last show of Mutt-Cracker
Had already taken flight

All the actors now were stirring
They had something up their sleeves
A bit of naughty fun
For adult time make-believe!

Join us later in the evening
For some vaudeville style delight
Puns and burlesque, even Krampus-
We’ll roast the show for just one night!

After 10 glorious years of performing the current incarnation of The Mutt-Cracker (SWEET!), many, MANY inside jokes have been made, alternative lyrics sung, and adult versions of scenes and songs have been conceived. For one night only, we have ‘unleashed’ the cast to perform a variety show that has been on their Xmas wish list for years – Mutt-Cracker (After Dark).

This is not your toddler’s Mutt-Cracker- 18 and up only. Join us for a night of raunchy fun as we travel parts of Doglandia never before seen! Journey with Clara as she explores the meaning of being a “Big” Little Girl. Sarcastic Cats, a Furry MC, Santa’s Little Helper, and more zany characters bump and grind through a magical winter wonderland. What tricks are Quillary Gooseton, PhD teaching us THIS time, and will Clara learn her lesson before the Krampus catches up with her?

Circus Chickendog is an Austin-based troupe that has been entertaining audiences for decades. Previously featured nationally on David Letterman, Pet Star, and Donny and Marie (Osmond), Circus Chickendog performs regularly in Austin and around Central Texas. 

 

Six-time Ironman, Darren Peterson received a BS in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin after interrupting his college studies for two years to join the Royal Lichtenstein Circus where he was the main juggler and unicyclist. After graduation, Darren taught High School math for three years and worked as an editor of math textbooks for four years. While editing math books, Chicken Dog began winning Disc Dog competitions, and Darren combined her tricks with his circus skills and became so popular that he no longer had time to edit math books.
