STEP INTO THE CRONE UNIVERSE

Join Red Nightfall Dance Theatre for the premiere of Rituals of Light: an intimate, interdisciplinary celebration where dance, music, film, and fashion converge to explore resilience and healing of the archetypal feminine.

Rituals of Light opens the first chapter of CRONE, an evolving fantasy universe. Here we encounter a culture that lives in sacred harmony with nature, where all acts of creation regenerate and renew the world rather than diminish it.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Original dances by Artistic Director Dorothy O'Shea Overbey reveal mystical practitioners wielding unique powers. Live piano by Dr. Scott Donald features Navajo/Diné composer Connor Chee, Claude Debussy, Samuel Barber, and Franz Liszt. The evening includes film screening, fashion displays, audience collaboration, and a radiant finale.

ATTIRE: We invite you to dress in honor of the Summer Solstice—let your attire reflect the light and magic of the season.

This is the first chapter of an ongoing universe—a chance to witness the birth of something extraordinary and be part of a community that believes in the transformative power of art.
