Meet Edward and Allison - he is smart, shy, and quirky, and she is sexy, dramatic, and vulnerable. Join them on their journey as they embark on a comic and passionate ‘he said – she said’ adventure that spans the twenty-year relationship of these unlikely friends.  Through the decades they navigate their way through laughter, passion, and moments of self-discovery as they struggle to resolve their feelings for the most significant person in their lives.

Unity Theatre invites you to fall in love with Embraceable Me, a heartwarming romantic comedy by Victor L. Cahn, playing in the Studio March 27 – April 6, 2025.

Experience the magic of love with Edward and Allison – two opposites irresistibly drawn together over the course of an unforgettable twenty-year journey. Edward, smart, shy, and endearingly quirky, finds himself entangled in the life of Allison, who is sexy, dramatic, and deeply vulnerable. Through decades of laughter, passion, and self-discovery, they navigate their evolving friendship in a touching ‘he said – she said’ adventure. Will they ever find the courage to embrace the love that has always connected them?

Starring Crystal O’Brien as Allison (previous Unity shows: The Crucible, Yankee Tavern, A Christmas Story, and others), and Brian Chambers as Edward (previous Unity shows: Dancing Lessons, See How They Run, and Little Women), Embraceable Me is directed by Justin O'Brien. He is making his Unity Theatre directing debut, but Justin has performed as an actor in many productions, including The Crucible, Yankee Tavern, Barefoot in the Park, among many others. Adding a layer of real-life romance, Justin is the real-life husband of Crystal, playing Allison.

Tickets for Embraceable Me are $27 for adults and $15 for students. Any unsold seats will be available for $15 starting fifteen minutes prior to curtain. A special preview performance will be held on Thursday, March 27, with tickets priced at $21. Showtimes for Embraceable Me are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 2:00 pm. There will be a Talk Back immediately following the performance on Thursday, March 27, and a Director’s Chat 30 minutes prior to the performance on Saturday, April 5.
