We are very excited to announce that YAMEL CUCUY IS COMING BACK to Ground Floor Theater from FOR A VERY LIMITED RUN. Based on the amount of love this show has received from the Austin Press and our local awards council (13 awards! 17 nominations!), those tickets are gonna fly faster than you can say Lechuza.  Yamel Cucuy is recommended for adult and teen audiences.

YAMEL HAS SOME FRESH FACES!

If you saw Yamel in 2022, you know that a huge part of what made it special was our cast. Several of them have followed artistic and personal paths that took them far away from us, but their contributions and artistry remain with us. We are excited to welcome five (5!) new and fabulous artists to our ensemble, who will be joining our returning cast and directing team:

Minerva Villa, Verónica Pomata, Victor Santos, Diana Patricia Guizado, and Jen Brown complete the new cast. Caroline Reck returns to direct, along with OG cast members Gricelda Silva, Gustavo Martinez, and Connor Hopkins.
