Salado Legends

Salado Legends, is the must-see play written by Saladoan Jackie Mills and chosen by the Library of Congress to serve as a record of American life in the mid 1800's. It's the story of Scottish settlers, Tonkawa Indians and Spanish explorers as they cross paths in the heart of Texas.
Indian legends, frontier life and war are interwoven throughout the play along with a touching love story, delightful music and dance. History truly comes to life as we watch the McDougal family navigate their changing world as the Civil War gets underway, the love interest between the young students at Salado College unfold, and the Tonkawa Indian legend of Sirena is told in vivid detail. It's all the action you expect from an iconic frontier story.
All the usual concessions you love are stocked and ready.
