MEN ON BOATS is the true(ish) history of an 1869 expedition, when a one-armed captain and a crew of insane yet loyal volunteers set out to chart the course of the Colorado River. With a diverse cast made up entirely of women, trans, non-binary, genderfluid and gender non-conforming performers, MEN ON BOATS spits in the eyes of traditional casting “types”, expertly satirizing male conquest throughout history in this 3-act roller coaster ride of chaos and hilarity.
