"You can tell lies without ever knowing it. You can hear them all day long and never know the difference.”
__
When George Denning tells his daughters things like “the underworld smells like Dark Chocolate cologne,” his daughter Sam sees him as a comedian, but his daughter Rebecca sees him as a rotten liar. She may have a point. Before taking the last of her things and leaving for good, Rebecca decides she needs to set the story straight with her sister, and convince her of their father’s lies the only way they know how: Greek mythology.
Through the story of Echo and Narcissus, narrated by Rebecca and her father George, we see the morals their father tried to impart and the much more hurtful lessons that really stuck.
Directed by Summer Jones
This production contains mature themes of sexuality and abuse & is recommended for ages 13+
