Jane Anderson’s Mother of the Maid tells the story of Joan of Arc’s mother, a sensible, hard-working, God-fearing peasant woman whose faith is upended as she deals with the baffling journey of her odd and extraordinary daughter. Told through an unexpected and remarkable new perspective, this deeply moving drama touches upon the glories and challenges of raising an exceptional child.

 

Katherine Schroeder stars as Isabella, with newcomer Alyssa Hurtado co-starring as Joan. The cast also includes Daniel Norton as Jacques and Christopher Gonzales as Pierre, Beau Paul as Father Gilbert, and Rosalind Faires as the Lady of the Court.

 

Will Douglas is the Producer, with David R. Jarrott Directing. Other creative team members include Natalie D. Garcia (Assistant Director/Marketing Director), Demetri Bellini (Technical Director), Craig Brock (Sound Designer), Charlesanne Rabensburg (Movement and Fight Choreographer) and Buffy Manners (Costume Designer).
