When a sacred and magical tree begins to wither, its roots expose a West Texas town trapped between long-buried secrets and a fast-approaching oil boom.
Arbolito was written during the 2020-2021 HPT Writers Group, and was a finalist for the Blue Ink Award and the 2022 Emory University Playwrights Festival.
Directed by Jerry Ruiz and featuring Katy Atkinson, Mary Alice Carnes, Zac Carr, Maggie Gallant, Yesenia Herrington, and David Jarrott. Dramaturgy by Megan Thornton.
