A.R. Gurney's Pulitzer-nominated "Love Letters" is a staged reading of a tender, tragi-comic, and nuanced examination of missed opportunities, and deep closeness of two two lifelong, complicated friends. Under the direction of Jeff Hinkle, The Stage Austin's production will feature a revolving cast of Austin talent reading for Melissa and Andy each week. "I love writing you. You most of all. I always have."

 

The Stage Austin will be donating $5 from every ticket sale to Refugee Services of Texas via Amplify Austin. Here is their mission statement: "Guided by the principles of human compassion and dignity, Refugee Services of Texas welcomes refugees, immigrants, and other displaced people and supports them in integrating and thriving in their new communitites."
