The Alamo Theatre Arts Council is pleased to announce that the following theatres will receive at least one award at the 29th Annual Globe Award Gala on October 20, 2019, at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre.

The Overtime Theatre: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe, By Our Hands, Ride the Musical, A Sign from the Taco Gods
Performing Arts of San Antonio: Wicket
Roxie Theatre – The 39 Steps, High School Musical, Rocking the Planet
The Sheldon Vexler Theatre: Cabaret, Leading Ladies, A Streetcar Named Desire, Sylvia
Trinity University: Lady Macbeth, You on the Moors Now
University of the Incarnate Word: Constellations, Endgame, Iron Bound
Woodlawn Theatre: Annie, Avenue Q, Beauty and the Beast, Hello Dolly, Oklahoma
The prestigious Jasmina Wellinghoff Award for Outstanding Contribution to San Antonio theatre will be presented to Deborah Martin, San Antonio Express-News.

Doors open at 5:30, dinner buffet is 6:00 to 7:15, and the show starts at 7:30. Tickets are available at the Majestic-Empire Box Office, through Ticketmaster or at the door. Orchestra-level table tickets, including dinner are $35 each, and balcony tickets are also available for $20.
