My Fair Lady focuses on a young woman named Eliza Doolittle, a flower seller whose Cockney accent interests professor and phonetician, Henry Higgins. Henry decides to rise to the challenge and mold Eliza into a lady by way of perfecting her speech and etiquette.
The story is gloriously triumphant. The tale of a cockney flower girl transformed into an elegant lady features one of musical theatre’s greatest scores. Songs include “The Rain in Spain,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “On the Street Where You Live,” and “Get Me to the Church on Time.”
