One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest follows the story of Randle P. McMurphy as he enters a new home in the psychiatric ward, meeting other patients in the process. As he begins to create unity between the patients, he finds ways to challenge the rules set by Nurse Ratched in order to make their lives better. McMurphy ends up pushing Nurse Ratched too far, leaving him with severe consequences.
