Meet Iro, an orphan from a time before air travel was common, who has become adept at escaping from the world around her; she has to be, as her world includes a cruel foster family and a dark secret about her own parents' death. One day, Iro’s imagination provides her with a crucial mission: find Pegasus. On her quest, Iro sets out to cross the ocean in search of the mythical winged horse with only a sack of books and her imaginary friend Annika by her side. What she finds along the way will help her confront her past and alter her future forever. A fantastical journey that will sweep you along with childlike wonderment and challenge you to see your own reality in a new light.
