The women of Untamed Shakespeare are back to take you on another breakneck ride through Shakespeare’s plays, and this time, it’s getting real.
We’re bringing you rigged elections, corrupt politicians, mass riots, and more. Sexual assault by the powerful? Shakespeare addresses it. Downfallen female political figures? All over the place. An impassioned defense of refugees? It’s the only surviving speech we have in his handwriting. You bet you’ll hear that, too.
(We might even throw in some appearances by modern characters, for good measure.)

It’s all donation-based and presented under the string lights (and with the delicious drinks) of the Butterfly Bar’s outdoor stage. We’ll start around 9 and end around 10. ALL DONATIONS will be passed on to ACLU Nationwide, Southern Poverty Law Center, Planned Parenthood Action, Refugee Services of Texas - Austin, and JOLT Texas.
