Sunday
Maggie Dunleavy summons her lovably dysfunctional family to celebrate her 75 th birthday. When they gather, so do their resentments and suspicions of each other. Through a series of encounters and cutting confrontations, all manage to shed unneeded baggage and move into a new appreciation of who they are, where they come from, and where they are headed.
Sheila Rinear is an incredibly talented playwright whose scripts and stories have graced several San Antonio stages over her long and successful career, and who is a wonderful supporter of The Playhouse. Her new script 'So When Are You Leaving' is our next Playhouse Potentials reading which will take place on Sunday, January 29th.

“Sheila Rinear has an original voice and a perceptive eye and we are the beneficiaries in her hilarious “So When Are You Leaving?”. Paying homage to “You Can’t Take It With You” this is a twenty-first century examination of how families scar us and save us – a poignant comedy sure to delight any audience. ”
