The Taming
by A Team of Nasty Women

Jan. 20, 2017
Friday

Set at a Miss America pageant, beauty queen Katherine has trapped a liberal activist and a Republican senator in a hotel room to help her rewrite the U.S. Constitution. From 4-6 PM at The New Movement, this raucous, all-female, political comedy inspired by Shakespeare's Shrew will provide a much-needed outlet for laughter and tears.

Not only is this a great way to pre-game for the Women's March on Austin, it's also an opportunity to donate to two great causes. Proceeds will be split between the Southern Poverty Law Center and Planned Parenthood of Central Texas.
