Organizing Meeting in La Grange: Fayette County Community Theatre, October 13, 2016

(via Susannah Mikulin)From Susannah Mikulin:

I am hosting a community interest meeting in exactly 3 weeks at the Old Casino Hall in La Grange (254 N Jerfferson St, LGTX, 78945) from 5:00-7:00. Please see the attached image for all of the information. This meeting is to gauge the community's interest in a FCCT and drama classes for the local area students. So if you or someone you know would be interested, I would love to see you there to chat!

Y'all know the drill- Im about to create and invite you all to the social medias I create for this. Please like the pages because it will really help me out! Also if you wouldn't mind sharing this post (two pushes of your thumb!), I would be forever and eternally grateful! Thank you so much to anyone I have already told about this- you know who you are. When I get excited I don't shut up and I have been suuuuuuper chatty lately so I appreciate your ears! Also, if you read this far along, I love you.

When we moved to La Grange I was 8 months pregnant and really only had the arrival of my baby girl on my mind. In the last 6 months my sole attention has been on family and home and that has been bliss, I wouldn't change that one bit. But now that I am feeling a bit more settled in the community and after some self-exploration and discussions with my husband (ad nauseam, Im sure), I am SUPER, TOTALLY, and OVER THE MOON EXCITED to announce that I have decided to create a Community Theatre for Fayette County!

I really feel like this is the perfect culmination of my past 2 careers- teaching theatre (which I loved) and owning an event production company (which I also loved). And I have done my homework, y'all- I have written an extensive business plan, run the numbers time and time and time again (and if you know me, you know how much I hated that part but I did it) and will be partnering up with the Old Casino Hall here in LG as a venue for the Fayette County Community Theatre (FCCT) productions. I would also like to implement drama classes and summer programs for all age groups K-12 for all the local kiddos who would be interested! I really feel like the Fayette County and community as a whole would really benefit from the FCCT, namely for the children who would not otherwise have the opportunity!
