WHO: TILT Performance Group (tiltperformance.org) and Ground Floor Theatre (groundfloortheatre.org)

WHAT: TILT Performance Group and Ground Floor Theatre seek submissions for their upcoming collaborative production, The Flip Side. All plays should be approximately ten minutes in length and written to be performed by 1-3 actors. Plays should take the form of fairy tales, allegories, fables, or similar genres that make use of heightened, fanciful environments, characters, language, narratives, and modes of storytelling. In addition, plays should focus in some way on the "flip side," i.e. novel vantage points on otherness: what might the grass look like on the other side? what exactly is (an)other? who lives on the other side of the tracks? Plays that incorporate comedic elements are particularly encouraged.

WHEN: All submissions are due by Friday, January 23rd, 2015 at 5 pm. Please email your submission to Gail Dalrymple, Executive Director of TILT, at gaildalrymple@gmail.com. All questions should also be directed to Gail at the same email address. Additionally, please let Gail know via email by Friday, January 9th, if you intend to submit a play. Playwrights will be notified of the status of their submission by Friday, January 30th, 2015.

WHERE: The Flip Side will be performed at Ground Floor Theatre in late May and early June of 2015, with direction by Adam Roberts and curating/dramaturgy by Lisa Scheps.
