VSA Texas is offering an Audio Description Taster Workshop. We need individuals who like theatre, dance, movies, museums, etc.; have a creative vocabulary; and want to learn about audio description.
Audio Description is the art of describing the visual elements of a live performance, movie or museum exhibit to a person who is blind or visually impaired. Come find out what it is all about!
Presenter: Celia Hughes, Executive Director of VSA Texas, is a trained audio describer and co-founder of the Audio Description Coalition who has been active for many years with the Leadership Exchange in Arts & Disability (LEAD) Conference produced annually by the Kennedy Center.
