But don't worry, she's not going far!

Our friends at Boerne Radio 103.9FM reported this morning that Christine will be stepping down as executive director on December 31, after nine years in the position.
We stopped by the theatre today to visit with Christine, who shared a few memories from her over 20 years with BCT.

Her first show was "Incorruptible" was almost 25 years ago, when she played "a rather nasty nun." Since then, she's acted, directed, served on the board, and handled just about every job imaginable at the theatre.

Well, except costumes. She says that's the one thing she doesn't do!

And while she's retiring as executive director, Christine plans to stay involved as box office manager, answering phones, helping out on show nights, and continuing to support the theatre she loves.

She even mentioned that she might get back on stage someday. Her last acting role was in "Ripcord" in January 2019.

BCT plans to announce its next executive director later this month, with a retirement celebration for Christine planned for December.
Congratulations, Christine, and thank you for everything you've done for Boerne's theatre community!

Have you ever seen Christine perform or worked with her on a production?
