It’s a brand-new season at StageCenter and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve put together for you. We’re really excited about our season:

“An Inspector Calls”, directed by Tim Scott;
“Parfumerie”, directed by Hannah White;
“Ada and the Engine”, directed by Andi Scott;
“Deathtrap”, directed by Jennifer Reiley;
“A Few Good Men”, directed by Nancy Woods; and
“A Fate Worse than Death”, our summer melodrama directed by Jennifer Hargis.

   We’re still looking for underwriters for some of our shows, and there are various levels. We love performing for you, but we do need to have lights and air conditioning in order to do that.

   Our new season has comedy, drama, intrigue, mystery, and suspense. Something familiar, something peculiar, something for everyone—a comedy tonight, as the song says. Right now, “An Inspector Calls” is in rehearsals; more on that later in the newsletter. We’re also in the process of getting new ticketing software, thanks to Tim Scott’s through detective work. Our new system makes it easier on us, and easier on you. We’ve got some more changes in the works as well, so stay tuned.

   Our first workshop, on stage and special effects makeup, was a huge hit and keep an eye out, because more workshops are on the way. We’re always looking for educational opportunities because education and entertainment go very nicely together. It’s our mission to give back to the community that has given so much to us. We always have opportunities for you to get involved: you can volunteer, audition, buy season tickets, advertise in our program, become a member, or become an underwriter. We want to tell your stories, because theater is one of the oldest art forms out there. Humankind has an inherent need to communicate, and we’re inviting you to come along
the ride.
