CTX4155. Broke Thespians San Marcos Invite Submissions for Directors and Plays/Projects for 2026 Season

Broke Thespians Theatre Company is now accepting submissions for our 2026 Season!

We welcome directors of all experience levels & backgrounds! All directors receive a stipend.

Important Dates: Submissions open August 10, 2025Submissions close August 31, 2025 (or when appointments fill). Virtual presentations take place September 20, 2025 (by appointment)

What to Submit: Include your name and contact information, the title and synopsis of your play, your resume (professional or artistic), and be prepared for a virtual presentation to our Board. We’re open to both plays and smaller-scale musicals* but please submit only one project for consideration to ensure equity.

Our Annual Summer Musical in the Park is reserved for active board members with at least one (1) term of service.Those who have not served on the Board for one (1) term but are interested in submitting a smaller-scaled musical may do so with the understanding that it may be placed in one of our other available slots.
