NOTICE: Rick Perkins aka Ricky Austin is NOT associated either with CTXLiveTheatre or with the Austin Critics Table
On April 11, 2022 CTXLiveTheatre barred Rick Perkins, also known as Ricky Austin, from any further collaboration with the CTXLT website.
CTXLT understands that he has also been barred by Broadway World Austin, the Austin Playhouse, and the Vortex.
Rick Perkins has misrepresented himself as a member of the Austin Critics Table. He is not a member.
Today, April 21, 2022, I advised him as follows:
I have just informed Kate Meehan of the B. Iden Payne committee that I barred you from presenting yourself as representing CTXLiveTheatre. I informed you of this on April 11, which happened to be the day after you sent Ms Meehan an inquiry mentioning both CTXLT and the Austin Critics Table.
You are not a member of the Austin Critics Table. As acting secretary for the Critics Table, maintaining the Critics Table Facebook page and hosting meetings, I inform you that the Austin Critics Table will not invite you to join.
