Now And Then
a Romantic Comedy by Sean Grennan
February 5 to 21, The VK Garage Theatre

Sometimes what happens after last call might change your life.

One night in 1981, just as Jamie is closing the bar where he works, a desperate last-minute customer offers him and his girlfriend Abby two thousand dollars to sit and have a drink with him. Who wouldn't take it? As the trio swaps stories and Jamie considers decisions they face, it begins to dawn that this older man is unusually invested in their choices... and the reason he gives them is completely unbelievable. When a very displeased second stranger arrives, the unbelievable begins to seem like the truth.

Now and Then is a heartfelt romantic comedy about the costs of the choices we make, and the people who make them with us.

If you enjoyed Sean Grennan’s Making God Laugh, you’ll love Now and Then.

Directed by R Sheldon Boyce,
Assistant Director/Stage Manager Sarah Brooks

Auditions, November 29 at 2:30, November 30 at 6:30
  • Roles for two couples, one young, one middle-age.

Little Shop of Horrors
a Cautionary Musical by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken
April 9 to 24, The Cailloux Theatre

In this mad-cap adaptation of the classic noir film by Roger Corman held over from our planned production in 2020, the amazing team of Ashman & Menken tell a Rock-tinged tale of planetary invasion by man-eating plants that became a world-wide sensation and a major motion picture.

You’ll fall in love with Seymour, the mild-mannered junior florist and his from-afar love, Audrey. You’ll hate the sadistic dentist who treats Audrey so badly, and you might event cheer for “Audrey II,” the plant that grows up to threaten all their lives.

Whatever you do, don’t feed the plants!

Directed by Jeffrey Brown
Choreography by Heather Cunningham

A Nice Family Gathering
a Comedy by Phil Olson
June 11 to 27, The VK Garage Theatre

“Dad” was the kind of guy who loved his wife so much, he almost told her so.

Since he died ten months ago, he’s got just one shot, the family’s Thanksgiving day gathering, to get the message to her through the only channel he has, his estranged son, Carl. The arrival of mom’s “date” for dinner just complicates things. Set against the frigid backdrop of Wisconsin, the warm feelings finally break through to bring this family closer together than ever.

If you laughed through Southern Fried Funeral, you’ll find another favorite in A Nice Family Gathering.

Directed by Darcey Wagner
