Sound Engineer Wanted for Georgetown Palace's MAN OF LA MANCHA (paid)
The Georgetown Palace Theatre is looking for a Sound Designer/Engineer for our upcoming production of Man of La Mancha.
Tech Begins 4/4/2017, and opens 4/14/2017, running through 5/7/2017
The Sound Designer reports to the director of the show as well as the Technical Director of the Theater. This person is responsible for mixing live instruments, 24 performers with body mics, as well as the voice over recordings and some sound FX. The Palace uses a Yamaha M7CL48 digital sound console with a Dante digital network, and a Behringer x32 mixer for monitoring. Experience mixing live sound is must. Unless major fixes to the design are needed during the run, the sound designer is done after opening night, until strike on May 7th, when they're needed for load out of the band.
The Sound Designer is paid $900.

Performances of Man of La Mancha at the Palace begin on Friday, April 14, 2017, and run for 4 weekends through Sunday, May 7, 2017. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday shows are at 2:00 p.m.
NOTE: Saturday Matinees at 3:00 p.m. have been added for April 22nd, 29th, and May 6th.

Ticket prices for the 2016-2017 Season are $30 Adults, $28 Seniors (55+), $28 Students and Active Military, and $14 Children (13 & younger). *$1 Ticketing Fee will be added per ticket at checkout. *Student Rush Tickets $17 at the door with student ID. Group rates are available for 20 or more. The Palace seats about 295, with reserved seating paid for in the ticket price.
The Palace office in the lobby of the theatre is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (except for some holiday dates).
