Inaugural Workshop and Auditions for New Central Texas School for Performing Arts, Temple, TX, February 1, 2017

Wednesday, February 1, 2017 beginning at 7 pm is the "Central Texas School For The Performing Arts" Inaugural Event, to be held at "Nathan Paul's Rations," in downtown Temple. The event will have entertainment, introduce potential students on school admissions AND offer auditions and refreshments! Attendees DO NOT HAVE TO AUDITION! Future school admissions AUDITIONS dates will be made available. All are welcome to attend the information session and acting workshop.

School director, Temple Resident and California native Daniel Bodhi Chapin will be presenting a FREE Seminar fit for youth and adults in Strasberg, "Method Acting." Movie and Theatre Nerds may remember, "Bodhi," as friends and family know him, or other members of the Chapin clan, in Movies such as " Witchcraft III," or "Saw IV," Or as Choreographer for Lead 1980's and 90's Group, the "Bangles," "When you're a boy," music video...

Locally, residents and visitors may have seen Chapin, at "Temple Civic Theatre," productions such as, "All My Sons," by Arthur Miller, or "Our Town," by Thorton Wilder or know him from his local organization (BICAS) "Bicycle Inter-Community Art & Salvage."

The school, elected by Chapin to be in Temple, will use teachers in various disciplines of the performing arts and the school itself is TUITION-FREE with class/operation donations sending partial proceeds to local "Temple Civic Theatre," youth productions.

Chapin has also written and directed plays for theatre and film while also being an avid musician, even being invited to perform at the world famous, "Whiskey A Go Go," in Hollywood, CA., following the release of his first album, "Munich."
