SATCO is planning to make some changes beginning January 2017:
- We will be implementing Virtual (Digital) Membership cards. Members will receive a jpg which you can save to your phone and present to the ticket taker. (Producers will be able to verify membership on the SATCO website if necessary)
- We will no longer be printing the membership directory. User profiles on the SATCO website will take the place of the directory.
- We will have a Virtual Board and Virtual Board meetings (via email as needed). We will be calling for volunteers to serve as officers of and to sit on the board.
- We will hold one yearly physical meeting for Election of Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer - or Secretary/Treasurer)
- All memberships (Producer and Individual Level) will be $10 per calendar year. Join in December for the following year.
- Our Fundamental Goals, as laid out when we began in 1995 remain unchanged:
- To promote the theatre arts in San Antonio
- To foster the sharing and distribution of information between members
- To improve and expand media coverage of theatre
- To explore methods for joint audience development
