Based on true events, Postville is the story of what happens when two worlds collide. A group of Hasidic Jews purchases a defunct meatpacking plant in a struggling Iowa town, intending to turn it into a kosher facility. At first, the locals think their troubles are over, but an epic culture clash ensues that turns the American melting pot into a pressure cooker that could explode at any moment.

After a long civil war between the royal family of York and the royal family of Lancaster, England enjoys a period of peace under King Edward IV and the victorious Yorks. But Edward’s younger brother, Richard, resents Edward’s power and the happiness of those around him. Malicious, power-hungry, and bitter about his physical deformity, Richard begins to aspire secretly to the throne. And he willl stop at nothing until he gets what he wants.
Last Act Theatre Company is excited to bring Shakespeare's well-known history play to Austin audiences with an all-female cast and crew.

We will be presenting a collection of scenes and monologues based on true stories from individuals who have had, or have considered having an abortion. This is not a propaganda piece. We have no desire to promote one side of this delicate issue over any others, but instead wish to share as many varying stories as we can in order to foster civil discussion that can lead to better understanding and compassion.
