This new adaptation restores the suspense and seduction of Bram Stoker's classic novel to the stage. As Count Dracula begins to exert his will upon the residents of London, they try to piece together the clues of his appearances -in a valiant attempt to save themselves from a hideous fate. Rich with both humor and horror, this play paints a wickedly theatrical picture of Stoker's famous vampire.

The Borkman family's fortune has been decimated by the imprisonment of patriarch John Gabriel Borkman, who abused his position as a bank manager to speculate illegally with his client's money, causing the financial ruin of many townspeople. After serving eight years for embezzlement, Borkman has spent the last five years making plans for a comeback. Meanwhile, his estranged wife and her twin sister vie for the loyalty of Borkman's prized son. Written in 1896, John Gabriel Borkman is Ibsen's pointed indictment of capitalism and greed.
