Upstage Productions is a theatrical production company and education program. Our education program provides dramatic and artistic classes and coaching for young actors and artists. Our production company produces new works collaborating with artists from every medium. Upstage Productions is a supportive artistic community that encourages creative risk and exploration.
We create, produce and distribute original musicals and theatrical works while striving for artistic excellence. We engage young actors on a creative journey and inspire them to take their craft to the next level. We collaborate with artists from every medium and encourage creative risk and empathy.
SUSPENDED AS OF 2015-2016 SEASON:
Dear Upstage Families and Friends,
After much consideration, Amy and I have decided to halt all Upstage shows and classes for the 2015-2016 school year in order to plan for Upstage's future.
All of you are dearer to us than we can express and it has been our privilege to have shared in the Upstage experience with you. Every show has been a creative adventure with our young actors that we have treasured. Although we were your teachers, you have taught us many happy lessons and given us very special memories. We will miss all of you more than we can say.
So as the Upstage curtain falls for now, we’ll leave you with these lines from a song from our show “All the Children Sing”:
"When all the children sing, that's when we believe
In music, love and joy and every perfect thing.
