She Smiles Entertainment is based on the belief that peoples needs are of the utmost importance. SSE is a collaborative performance group that comes to you. We do so with the hopes of expanding and exploring our gifts to entertain you into a smile you once had, or introducing you to the one you never had.
Mission
She Smiles Entertainment, a body designed to restore faith, mend broken hearts, and empower women and men, recovering stolen smiles through conversation, connection, understanding and release.
Founded in 2007 by Tawanna I. Jackson in Austin, TX. Ms. Tawanna Jackson, also known as "Ms. Jackson", is the face She Smiles Entertainment (SSE). She is the writer, director, and producer of the SSE production, Phazes of a Woman's Soul. Which debuted in front of sold out audiences.
Through SSE, Ms. Jackson presents a range of productions, catering to all kinds of souls. Many of her productions and personal performances involves singing, dancing, poetry, skits, and plays.
Objective
In seasons to come, SSE intends to present the world with plays, cultural diversity programs and teaming up with non profit organizations to bring help, enlightenment and encouragement to all. Making sure that every event, show, production and performance is so captivating that some one is motivated to have a change of heart/mind to live, love and laugh another day. Ms. Jackson has dreams of mentoring troubled youth, providing them with an alternative way of releasing anger and replacing hate with exercising their own gifts in a positive way. She Smiles Entertainment looks to operate and own Daycares, after school programs of the Arts for inner city youth and offer an alternative to relieving stress. She Smiles Entertainment also looks to help and assist other upcoming playwrites by listing a list of available actors/actressess. Provide stage props for rent to help the playwrites both local and traveling with preparation for their shows.
Vision
She Smiles Ent has plans to someday open a Café / Boutique geared to help expose up coming design artist and provide a platform for performers to share their gifts. Have a place for relief for young minority women gifted in performing arts. After school programs, summer camps, seminars all dealing in self esteem, growth etc. Concerning her personal goals, Ms. Jackson desires to use her gifts, talents and treasures to mend people's hearts. Through her work and life, she sincerely seeks to save lives, restore faith, and encourage souls. Moreover, she hopes in some way that her efforts will touch and preserve marriages, families, and friendships. She says, "No one loves for the sake of just loving anymore. We marry because of children; we stay together because of children. We divorce because of money. God's intent was for us to have the same love for one another that He has for us. We mess up, walk away, turn our backs on Him, and yet He still loves us".
