Chamacos Dance Company
Cuban/Latin American dance company in Austin, Texas, at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican-American Cultural Center
The company was founded in Summer, 2017 by Aurelio Planes Rodriguez and Inna Grudtcina. It consist of dancers from Cuba, Russia and United States. In its repertoire we incorporate contemporary dance and theater. Coming from different schools and backgrounds we are working on developing our own unique style and the way of movement.We see our mission in getting more people involved in the art of dance by providing original and thought provoking performances. We believe that dance has power to influence minds and lives of people when both technique and genuineness are present.
