Austin City Ballet
The Austin City Ballet was founded in 1991, originally as The Conservatory Dance Theatre, for dance students at The Austin Conservatory of the Arts and local dance students to enjoy a pre professional performing experience. This year we celebrated our 30th birthday as the premiere training organization and serve Austin, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and Georgetown.
Our ballet program is based on training from The Royal Academy of Dance, Vaganova, Cecchetti and Bournonville syllabi. We consider Jazz, Modern/Contemporary, Tap, and Musical Theatre to be essential for developing a well-rounded performer and we will continue to focus on providing a broad range of training choices to our students. Our dancers also benefit from guest artists and instructors who work with our company.
We endeavor to educate our students in all areas of the performing arts while maintaining a fun learning environment and family atmosphere.
