Established in San Antonio in 2011, Atta Girl Productions creates transformative performances, inspiring workshops, and innovative educational kits for people of all ages and backgrounds.  We strive to provoke thought, and transform the human experience.

Lisa Cortez Walden, Ph.D., Artistic Director has over 25 years in arts administration.   She began her career as an actress with El Teatro de la Esperanza, and is now Programs Director for Gemini Ink.  In between these two jobs, she has produced events that range from small, but personalized and highly detailed conference proceedings to city-wide celebrations that host over 250,000 people in one evening. 

TJ Gonzales, Technical Director.  TJ Gonzales is a member of San Antonio’s Local 76, the union that produces all of San Antonio’s conventions.  As such, he works in all of the major theatrical and convention venues, including the Tobin Center for the Arts, the Lila Cockrell Theatre, the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center, and more.  He is a licensed electrician, carpenter, and video lead.
