One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

The Vex is currently seeking to fill the Rehearsal Management position on our production team for this summer's project, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

A rehearsal manager at the Vex should be available for most of the rehearsal period (listed below) up to and potentially including dress rehearsals which end on August 22nd. Previously scheduled conflicts are acceptable. This position includes responsibilities such as actor management, rehearsal reports and rehearsal notation like blocking and prop traffic.
No experience is necessary to apply. This is a volunteer position. Members of the team receive complimentary tickets to the show and access to the community center facilities (gym, pool, showers, etc.)
REHEARSAL DETAILS:
- In order to accommodate summer schedules, this project will begin with a few read-throughs and table-work sessions in June. Regular rehearsals will begin mid-July.
- A typical Vex rehearsal schedule runs Monday - Thursdays evenings 7-10pm. The last two weeks of the rehearsal process include full cast calls and some weekend rehearsals.
PRODUCTION DETAILS:
- The production runs from August 23rd to September 20th, 2014.
- Performances are Thursdays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 8:00pm, and Sunday matinees at 2:30pm.
