Based on the hit Dreamworks movie and the jaw-dropping true story, Catch Me If You Can is a hilarious, fast-paced show with a lot of heart. The story follows our cunning young con-artist, Frank Jr. as he runs away from home and manages to amass a fortune posing as a pilot, a doctor and a lawyer - all before the age of 25. Nothing comes for free however, and soon the wily FBI agent Carl Hanratty is hot on his tracks. As the stakes get higher and the escapes get wilder, both will discover that they this is no ordinary chase!
Seeking actors for all roles/parts in the Central Texas Premiere of the hit musical "Catch Me If You Can". Actors must have strong acting, vocal, and movement abilities as CMIYC is a very dance-heavy and ensemble-heavy show, with many actors playing multiple roles. Ensemble actors may also be asked to understudy lead roles. What to prepare:For the audition, please familiarize yourself with the characters and the "style" of the show. A lot of the scenes fluctuate between intimate conversations between two characters to huge show-stopping numbers. We are looking for actors who can tackle both extremes with high energy and a sense of fun. Please prepare/bring:

All roles are open. Rehearsals will take place both in Austin and in Wimberley to minimize time spent commuting.

Callbacks are by invitation only and will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 9am - 5pm, more information will provided after the initial audition.
