Stanley Lambchop is an ordinary ten-year-old until one night, the bulletin board above Stanley's bed comes loose and falls - right on top of Stanley! The next morning, Stanley Lambchop wakes up flat. Not just a little flat...really, REALLY flat! In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He's stamped, posted and cancelled from Hollywood to France to Honolulu and beyond, as he tries to become a three-dimensional boy once more.

We are seeking 5 adult actors/vocalists (2 women and 3 men) to perform in paid “theatre for youth” daytime performances. The musical is based on Timothy Allen McDonald’s beloved “Flat Stanley” series of early readers.

Tuesday, Sept. 22nd & Wednesday Sept. 23rd 10:00 am-1:00 pm
Looking for strong character actors who can sing and move well. Experience in children’s theatre a plus.
Actors should prepare 32 bars of a song of their choosing that showcases their range. We will ask for cold readings from the script.
Auditions are scheduled on-line via the Palace website. You’ll fill out the audition form, conflict calendar, and sign up for a time.

Rehearsals: Rehearsals will be weekdays from 10-2
Background checks: Everyone involved with the production must submit to a background check at the Palace's expense. If you are cast, you'll receive a secure link where you can fill it out. There is no cost to you.
Compensation: Compensation for the rehearsal period and 15 confirmed performances will be $850. 6 additional performances may be added at $50/show. You will be notified of additional shows within the first week of the run.
Performances: The performance dates are scheduled for two performances a day on October 20, 22, 23, 27, 29, 30 & November 3, 5, 6 -performance times 9:30 am & 12:30 pm each day. Saturday mornings October 24, 31 & November 7 at 10:00 am. The running time of the show is 55 minutes.
We practice color blind casting, so all ages, abilities, gender and ethnicities are encouraged to participate.
