The Fantasticks

The Fantasticks is one of the world’s longest running musicals and was the 1st musical showcased at Temple Civic Theatre 50 years ago. With memorable music and beautiful poetry, it is a beloved show with a timeless romantic love story enthralled with comedy, conflict, and struggle. The simplicity of the subtle theatrical production insures the audiences a connection through creativity and imagination. 


Audition Information: Please prepare a song in the style of the show (Classic Broadway) and in the appropriate vocal range of desired character role. (ex: females sing a song highlighting the soprano range). You must bring sheet music for our accompanist, unless you are providing your own means of accompaniment. After the conclusion of vocal auditions, you may also be asked to perform cold readings from the script given at auditions. Please wear comfortable clothing for stage movement. It is always best to attend both nights of auditions. A final callback may be determined upon the second night if needed.

Mortimer- Henry’s sidekick/American Indian
The Mute- (non-speaking role) Male or Female
