The 39 Steps

Elements of the original Hitchcock film, a juicy spy novel and a dash of Monty Python -- magical theater all the way!  A bored man takes a woman home who claims to be a spy.  When she is murdered, a mysterious organization called "the 39 Steps" pursues him in a madcap manhunt.
