The Guadalupe presents New Teatro by SA Playwrights and Teatristas !! Local playwrights, performers and ensembles take the Guadalupe stage and present an evening of staged readings and workshop performances of new works. From drama and comedy to experimental and spoken word, this Teatro SAlon will showcase both emerging talent and veterans of the San Antonio Teatro scene. This program is open to participants of all backgrounds and experience levels while placing an emphasis on new works that explore, celebrate, challenge, and further define the Latino, Chicano/a, and Native American experience.

AUDITION NOTICE Calling all Actors !!!
The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center Performing Arts program is holding auditions for male and female actors of all ages for its Teatro Salon Showcase. Numerous roles are available for six plays (short plays and excerpts) which will be presented Saturday October 24th on the Guadalupe Theater stage. Several roles for children 10 years and up are also available.
Actors should bring a resume and be prepared to do a cold reading from the chosen plays. A monologue is NOT required but actors are welcome to perform one. No appointment necessary just arrive before 7:30pm. Rehearsals will take place throughout the months of September and October.
