Prohibition, a musical about the War on Booze

Set in Austin, Texas on the eve of Prohibition and World War I, this musical comedy from Texas Comedies (aka Crank Collective) follows the feud between the "drys" and the "wets." When a forbidden love between two families begins to brew, the War, the Kaiser, the Klan and the Temperancers stand in their way. This is a one-hour musical comedy with a live band.
Shows at Dougherty Arts Center Theater: February 23 - Mar 4, 2017. Rehearsals begin in late January. Some pay is available for the shows.
Auditions will be in mid-November, TBD.
Roles currently available: a young man and temperancer (21+), two young women (21+), two men (30 - middle aged).
